STREET MINISTRY - AT THE BASES

Visiting the bases today with me was Anthony, Kennedy, Evans, Jacqueline (a new volunteer) and Francis Cugia (one of our own who is working on streets as he waits for his national identity card).

We prayed before leaving the Eastliegh center then began the visits. I shared the gospel from Matthew 13: 44-48 about the Kingdom of Heaven. We encouraged them to repent and change their ways so that they would not miss out on the Kingdom of Heaven. Everyone at the bases was attentive today and appreciated the visit. One man at the Redeem base especially appreciated our visits saying that church leaders normally pass by and don't stop to pray with them or share the gospel with them. He thanks God for Made in the Streets. The bases we visited today were Lilliput, Mlango Kubwa, Redeem, Chicago and visited with other street boys who were playing soccer in the street.

We returned to the Eastliegh Center dusty, tired and hungry but thankful to have encouraged those on the streets to make the kind of changes God wants them to make. It is a joy to reach out to the street children. Thanks to all of you who make this ministry possible.
